Dear Colleagues,

The thirteenth in the series, AIAC-13 and its incorporated Conferences and Associated events, has been organized to provide significant technical and business opportunities for aerospace professionals worldwide, but particularly for those in the Australasian region.

Following on the format of the previous two events, AIAC-13 will incorporate the 13th Australian Aeronautics Conference, the 6th International Conference on Health & Usage monitoring, the 7th Australian Pacific Vertiflite Conference on Helicopter Technology, the 3rd Australasian Unmanned Air Vehicles Conference and the 2nd International Helicopter Safety Team - South Pacific Regional Conference. Associated events include the Australian International Airshow 2009.

The Congress will be held at the Melbourne Convention Centre, and will offer 2 days of sessions, followed by a visit to the Airshow. Last year the Congress attracted a total of 435 attendees. The technology program will comprise of high standard papers presented in dedicated aerospace and aviation discipline streams addressing technology areas in each of the incorporated conferences.

On behalf of the hosts, supporters and sponsors, together with the members of the Congress Organising Committee, I and the Conference Chairs welcome you to AIAC-13 and wish you a great week of aerospace activities.
