Registration and Accommodation Booking Information
How to book your accommodation:
Please indicate on the booking form your accommodation requirements listing hotels in preferential order 1,2,3 etc. As there is limited space available at each hotel, it is important that you book early. Accommodation will be allocated strictly in order of receipt of registration form and payment.
Early arrival or late departure:
Please note that the check in time for the Conference hotels is from 2.00pm. Plesae indicate or notify the Congress Organisers in writing if you will be arriving early, as it may require you to book the night before to guarantee immediate access to your hotel room.
Please also indicate or notify the Congress Organisers in writing if you will arrive at your hotel after 6.00pm, as failure to do so may mean your room will be released.
Change of booking:
Any change to a reservation must be notified to the Congress Organisers in writing and not directly to the hotel.
Payment of accommodation:
The balance of your accommodation account and any incidential charges must be paid in full directly to the hotel on departure.
Terminology:
“Double” refers to a room with one double (or queen) bed. “Twin” refers to a room with two beds. “Single” refers to a single occupancy room. Accommodation rates are for room only and do not include breakfast, unless stated otherwise.
Cancellation and Refund Policy:
Any changes or cancellation must be notified in writing to the Congress Organisers.
Registration Fees - Prior to 30 January 2009, cancellations will receive a 50% refund of total fees. From 31 January 2009, cancellation will not be refunded. However, registrations can be transferred to another member of your organisation with no penalty costs if notice is provided in writing to the Congress Organiser.
Accommodation - For cancellations of reservations please refer to the individual hotel. Any amendments to your original accommodation booking must be forwarded in writing to the Congress Organisers.
Tax:
All Congress Registration and Additional Ticket rates quoted within this brochure are in Australian Dollars and are inclusive of GST.
